Absolutely cannot recommend them enough. Thank you for a great night out.
An exquisite meal out on Jackson Street with Rata, Thomas & team. Wholesome and tasty food that makes you smile and talk flavours with each other. The service was wonderful and we were guided so well on how to order off the menu. “Share your entree”. We had beef croquettes for entree, and added potatoes cooked in duck fat to go with our mains. I had the Snapper en Papillote with a delicious, red Jasmine rice and Thai herbs and my wife had the Lamb Rump with what she said was full of different exciting flavours – each puree alongside of the tasty gravy with the soft and supple Lamb Rump made her meal wholesome. We both knew with the presentation of the meals, it was going to be an exciting food adventure and it definitely was. My wife finished off her Valentine’s night with Thai Tea Creme Brulee – the shell was lite and tasty, and the soft sweet Thai Tea creme had a unique taste with a side of ice cream and little delights. Happy wife, happy life – a very Happy Valentine’s 💕 It was a little heavy on the purse strings, but when you enjoy a wonderful meal like this – it was so worth it 💕
Second time here, this time to celebrate my birthday, and again we’re blown away by the food and the service. Rata is a magician in the kitchen and Thomas really makes us feel welcome and provides excellent service.
After a (shared) starter, main, and desert we were absolutely stuffed. Can’t wait to go again.
