What do Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud visitors reviews this place?
My standout dishes were the croquettes, lobster tail and apricot souffle.
If you go, you won’t be disappointed. Looking forward to returning again one day.
The interior is stunning and the way guests and table are arranged allow you to soak up the ambience of other diners.
The service is second to known and the staff are extremely knowledgeable. Surprised there was not a Moscatel or a Assyrtiko wine but the sommelier helped us choose a nice Riesling (however it was overpriced as it would be in Dublin).
My favourite dish was definitely the Turbot – it was light, refreshing and tasteful. The croquette and lobster tail I found a bit too rich for my taste and could not stomach more than a few bites. The Lamb Loin was also very tender and was a well rounded dish. The Duck and its confit as well as the mashed potatoes were also amazing.
We decided on the cheese and wine pairing on a whim but while the experience of choosing out the cheeses was a delight, I wouldn’t opt for it again.
The chocolate tart was amazing and it was a celebration so there was a candle in it.
All in all, a fabulous experience and definitely would be back for the 8 course tasting menu.
Side note: the walnut and raisin bread is unreal!
