What do Salt & Olive visitors reviews this place?
We had a good time here with some friends for a Friday night dinner. The atmosphere was chic and modern, and I love that they have different areas within the same restaurant! There’s a more fast/casual kind of vibe for pizza and that area, a quick coffee chat vibe in the front area with a fun backdrop for pictures, and the back area is where the fine dining is, which is more secluded. Three different vibes to me! The food was good, nothing over the top spectacular, but great enough to go again! I had the salmon, my husband had the special, and our friends had the beet salad and something else that was light. We ordered wine and service was great. Worth a visit!
Service here was a little odd, they wanted to run it like a sit-down restaurant but it was an order and then go sit down sort of thing.
It was just a sort of strange mix of a wannabe contemporary while still saying almost fine dining. Their menu very much made it seem like they wanted to do fine dining with how fancy things were.
We got a pizza and a beef plate, which were both pretty good. We really liked the beef plate they had but it was the pizza that put us off.
I enjoy basil on my pizza but not giant uncut leaves. So you either get a bite with a mouthful basil or a bite with none…. Should really just be shredded and put everywhere.
Oooh yum. I loved the tranquil gem we happened upon in the heart of Salt Lake. Our cashier/server was kind, respectful and polite. He gave me a recommendation between the two I was debating. And it was stellar. We got the Truffle. That Ricotta was amazing.
I loved the large can of Diet coke that was served. Nice touch.

This place is absolutely amazing! Great pizza, but the Bucatini is my absolute favorite. Their steak is drool worthy and don’t even get me started on the sides that come with it. Celeste the manager is one in a million! You can tell that she takes pride in her job, loves all the employees, and makes sure that all customers have the best experience. Definitely recommend!
It was kinda pricey, but SO good.
For 2 cokes, a steak salad, dessert, and a pizza it came out to like $66 after tip. But I would 100% pay it again.
You HAVE to try their truffle pizza. Literally life changing.
And it’s a seat-yourself situation, where you order at the counter then sit and wait for them to bring you your food. (Unless you have a reservation.) I’ve been to Italy and would say the food is the closest I’ve tasted to actual food in Italy.
