About this restaurants :
I have wanted to visit San Carlo for such a long time and was thrilled when my husband said he was taking me for my birthday. Everything about the experience exceeded my expectations from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we were waved off! The staff were so attentive and helpful – we took up their wine recommendations (which included wines to suit all pockets) and food favourites and every mouthful was delicious – I tried food I thought I didn’t even like (the chicken liver starter) and found it cooked to perfection and utterly delicious. I was sung to, given extra birthday pudding and generally treated like a superstar the whole time we were there and cannot wait to go back again! Thanks to all (especially our cheeky waitor!) for making it a wonderful birthday treat!
Excellent service and atmosphere. Food was OK. Will give another try with some other dishes.
The service and atmosphere were top-notch. The food, while satisfactory, didn’t particularly stand out. Despite the bustling lunchtime crowd, we were promptly served.
We began with bread and dips, followed by a diverse selection including a mixed sea platter, garlic and cheese pizza, ravioli, and grilled fish. Each dish was decent, but none were remarkable.
Unfortunately, they were out of some specials, which I plan to try on my next visit to get a fuller experience before making a final judgment.
Amazing food from start to finish. Service was superb from the waiters. Atmosphere was very lively and busy. Had a lovely meal. Looking forward to going back.
First visit to this with a client as part of a group. The seating was cramps for a group of 6. Ordered the food, and although the Pollo de Diavolo was tasty with a lovely spiciness, the chicken itself was tough. The staff were attentive and eager to bring more drinks, but I’ve certainly tasted better chicken in a Njuda sauce
Overall food quality and price are okay, nothing really amazing. Staff served well with kindness and humor.
Below comments are based on my personal opinion as an Asian
You must try panna cotta. The texture is genuinely good. Carbonara tasted good but not Ravioli all’Astice (Lobster Ravioli). Scallops are okay. Not worth a try
