About this restaurants :
Services and seats okay, I have booked the table in advance, when we arrived, I have mentioned the advert 50% off for 12 – 5pm, happy hours, the waiter said NO, only 25%, what a liar, don’t believe the advert again! My friend said OK because it’s her birthday. When the dishes arrived, the chicken tasteless, it’s like after grill the chicken then put the sauce to mixed it. The garlic naan wasn’t bake properly. Even the waiter put someone else dish on our table, after 5 minutes, he took it away, said this is not for us. It was only 3 tables at that time. We have few soft drinks, after 25% discount, still cost us £100! Most expensive lunch and we did not enjoyed it either.
Until now, I have been very disappointed with the restaurants on Brick Lane. Finally, I have discovered Sheba, a really good and authentic Indian restaurant. I believe they have some super hot dishes here. Following the advice of my server, I opted for one of the hottest dishes. The taste was fantastic and the spice level was about as hot as I can manage. I do want to go back next year and try the hottest dish on the menu. Food and service was fantastic and top notch.
I booked a table for 16 people and we arrived as a group of 12 with 4 arriving shortly after. Despite stating this, we were seated at three tables joined together which meant there wasn’t enough room. They agreed they would make space and as soon as the table next to me left, I asked to join that to ours to make room for the extra people. This is where service went downhill – we were quickly told they were seating 4 people there, even though I’d booked for 16.
The food took almost 2 hours to get to the table from arriving at the restaurant. Totally unacceptable. It was not spicy and portions were very small for the price paid. To top it off, the discount offered with online booking was not applied to the total.
Do yourselves a favour and visit one of the many better restaurants in the area.
I REALLY DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW CAN SOMEONE AWARD THIS PLACE AS BEST CURRY HOUSE.
We ordered lobster 🦞 which was £22 and trust it’s such a disappointment. It’s not like the one they have in the video posted on Google.
Chicken special balti, was another disappointment.
Over priced, we ordered 2 mains and 1 starter and total bill was just over £65.❌❌❌❌
I would not recommend this as an Indian restaurant. NEVER AGAIN!!!

This Bollywood themed restaurant is known for its curry and desi food. I had my best desi food experience in London so far. Try the Nawabi Shank you’re gonna love it
