Splashes Restaurant

I have been dining at Splashes on and off for almost 25 years. They were and still are one of my favorite spots for dining by the water where I can truly enjoy a nice meal with my loved ones and special guests while listening to the splashes of the waves and watching the California sun setting above the ocean. If you are seated at the lobby level, make sure to walk to the lower level where you can enjoy the close-up views of the water and waves splashing against the big rocks below. Make sure charge up your phone battery for the great shots and videos you will end up taking! I promise you won’t be disappointed!

This is our MUST visit restaurant every time we come back to Orange County! The service is always top notch! Our waitress Alma and her helper Rafael were very attentive and always there when we needed them. The food is always outstanding! Lobster bisque, Tuna sandwich and Mahi Mahi tacos are our favorite. They usually open their floor to ceiling windows so it feels like you are dining on the beach. Highly recommend!

This is a smaller compact space during the major reconstruction that is happen in now at Surf & Sand. Very exciting to see what everything will look like. The cuisine is phenomenal despite being compromise by the construction. At least it is open even on smaller scale. Always consistently delicious and exceptional service.

Made reservations for Christmas dinner while visiting Laguna. I have not been to Surf and Sand in 30 years. It did not disappoint at all. Impeccable service, decent wine list,
amazing cuisine (yellowtail appetizer, scallops & lamb chops from the set Christmas menu were some of our favorites ) and beautiful views. We will definitely be back for future experiences.

We came here on a weekday night, so it wasn’t too busy. The server was attentive and friendly. The Icelandic Cod was one of the kind. It was tender inside and crispy outside. The chefs really know their stuff.
