The only reason I’m giving this place one star is because of the cocktails and wine lists. The food quality did not match the price point.
The Tataki seared scallop lacked texture, bordering on mushy. The chicken liver parfait was overwhelmingly strong and the bread was disappointingly not crispy at all.
Moving onto the mains, we ordered the stone ade scotch fillet and Kagoshima wagyu Tenderlion in medium well. Both dishes were overly salty, and to my dismay, the Scotch fillet was undercooked – almost raw. The side of shoestring fries was a let down; despite the restaurant’s attempt yo rectify the situation and remake the fries, they remained soggy after the initial few crispy ones.
While the service was commendable, the overall dining experience fell short of expectations.

It’s hard to fully describe how good this experience was in a full, holistic, encompassing sense. The food, amazing. Pairings, beyond perfection. Service, impeccable. I don’t speak lightly. My partner and I have 30 years experience between us as hospitality professionals, including as former venue owners. We’ve toured a range of 3 hatted venues that have felt scripted and pretentious, trying to achieve the level of service that seemed natural at this establishment.

Don’t be put off by the premium, top shelf individual items and their pricing on the menu. The degustation is an affordable and mind blowing experience, as is every individual dish (including any of the starters). I’m not kidding. I’ll remember the side dish *salad* that accompanied a steak course forever.

Get the wine pairing. It’s adventurous without being pretentious for the sake of it. Go in blind. Let them drive. You won’t regret it. We generally dislike alcoholic pairings and were again blown completely away.

We’ll be back. You will be too.

Wow…pricey but was a gastronomic feed…superb entrees of hokkaido scallops and kushiyaki wagyu, mains shared 1kg Sher rib eye wagyu 9+ from Ballan and topped with desserts of leatherwood honey parfait and chocolate delice…well worth the dining experience…will come again.

We had an amazing time at this fine dining restaurant! The food was exceptional, with each dish meticulously prepared and bursting with flavor. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience truly memorable. A special shout-out to BT and Harold for their exceptional service. The ambiance added to the overall charm, creating a sophisticated and inviting atmosphere. We highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking a remarkable dining experience. We enjoyed every moment and will definitely be returning in the future.

It’s a great experience to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations, especially one of the Taiwanese girls wearing the glasses is really friendly and truly cares about your experience. Highly recommend!
