About this restaurants :
My family’s experience was just wonderful. Our server was so helpful and even though the menu was brand new he was able to help us find what we wanted. The chef came and spoke with us about the menu as well and was so friendly and delightful. He even brought our kids a “secret stash” of gummy worms which that just about made their day. The food presentation was beautiful and my fish i had was cooked to perfection. My husband had the waygu steak and it melted in your mouth. So the food was amazing but the service is really what makes it a 10 out 10 experience. Cant wait to go again.
The food was delicious. We ordered scallops, oysters, spiced Mexican yam, fresh fish, and dessert. The dessert was one of my favorites.
Amazing food. Celebrated a birthday here and we loved our server, and the food. The kitchen is open to the dining area so you can see them cooking your meal. Very laid back, peaceful atmosphere.
Michael was a fantastic server and knew the menu inside and out. The staff were extremely accommodating with our request to move outside, since inside was too loud for us. But the porch was lovely – just be aware that the heaters are strong! The amuse-Bouche was tasty, as were the cocktails. The squash bisque was on point, and the winter salad was gorgeous. My husband loved his steak, but honestly, the snapper was underwhelming. The pear dessert was refreshing, but the chocolate cake was a little much for me personally.
We live in the area; so, my wife and I like to go to Stories — as it is the only elegant dining near us. In the past, we have always ordered the bone-in ribeye and split it. Our most recent visit will be our last. The steak was unbelievably tough and had almost no flavor. We complained that this was not the quality we were expecting; and they went back to the kitchen and prepared another. The second attempt wasn’t any better than the first. I asked the manager if something has changed. He said they have switched to a different beef provider. That explained why their steaks are so much worse than ever before.
