Lovely quaint little restaurant with a cozy atmosphere, good & friendly service. The food was really good, well-prepared, generously-sized helpings and fast serving time.
The twice-cooked duck, the lamb as well as the pork fillet wrapped in prosciutto were all delicious, complemented with fresh veggies and a beautiful sauce/jus. The sticky date pudding was also beautiful.

Sawtell / Coffs Harbour
Located on a nice leafy street. Friendly staff. Like any other reasonable restaurant in Coffs Harbour area, they are quite busy. Food was well done, although fried spring roll was a little greasy and potatoes? Reasonably priced +

I had the seafood chowder, the duck, and the sticky date pudding. The chowder and the duck were quite good. I think I could’ve skipped the dessert though (not that it was bad, I just found it alright). The staff were friendly and nice, and the service was quick. It’s a small restaurant so it can be a bit noisy with a full house, but overall it was a lovely meal.
We were taken care of from start to finish.
The menu suited everyone in our 7 person party.
Naomi and staff were always there when you needed and Chef dis am amazing job once again. Our family favourite for celebrations!

Duck is divine, strak was amazing, chowder is my favourite plus a toffee pudding at the end topped it off. Cheers Taste, you did it again!

Had dinner at this resturant recently. The food and service was great. However, we ordered the eye fillet MED RARE. The steak came out MED WELL DONE. The waiter was great and agreed with our opinion on the level of cook on the steak and insisted on taking the two servings back to the kitchen to only return moments later to say the chef cut one in half and in the kitchen light its MED RARE. I asked if the owner was the chef and was told he was. Can’t imagine telling customers they are wrong when the waiter agreed and insisted on returning to the chef. What a shame ego and arrogance got in the way of an obviously talented chef. Photos attached you be the judge……
