The Bison Restaurant

Very nice dining experience. Food was delicious & generous portions. We ordered chips & onion dips, steak ( well cooked) & Lemon Posset ( which was ok… nothing extraordinary). We tried the Bison classic Lady Mac cocktail which was outstanding. Their service was excellent.

We had a nice evening at the Bison Restaurant. I had the Bison Bolognase. The pasta was nice, the sauce could have used a bit more seasoning for my taste. Our server was excellent. Did a great job of selecting wine and drink pairings. My friend had the braised beef, it looked amazing and he would definitely recommend it

Fantastic all around! We tried the Bison short rib, fried chicken, beef & dumpling, Barratta salad, chocolate & banana dessert and gin and grapefruit cocktail. Topping it off with great service from Rose! Definitely a place to check out.

From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, we were captivated by its exquisite ambience and tasteful decor, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Our waitress, with her impeccable attention to detail, elevated our evening with her warm hospitality.

As we perused the menu, our anticipation grew, and we opted for the cheeseburger, bison Bolognese, and the tantalizing short ribs of buffalo. Each dish surpassed our expectations, with the buffalo ribs impressing us with their succulence and robust flavor, while the bison Bolognese, infused with a reduction of white wine, left our taste buds tingling with delight.

Accompanied by perfectly crisp French fries and refreshing sangrias, every element of our meal was meticulously curated to perfection. Without hesitation, we wholeheartedly recommend this gem of a restaurant to anyone visiting Banff. It’s a culinary haven where every bite is an experience to savor, making it an absolute must-visit destination for food enthusiasts and adventurers alike.

Absolutely amazing food. The bison short rib is so tender and tasty. The portion was so generous that I got full half way. The service is thorough and attentive. And the Lady Mac g&t is one of the best cocktails I’ve had. If you feel like splurging once in a while, this place is it!
