About this restaurants :
Ribs 8.4/10
great bark, well trimmed, good dry rub. The best ribs in New Orleans so far.

Baked Beans 8.2/10
They are non traditional small white beans with a sweet smokey sauce and pulled pork slow cooked into them. Surprisingly good with a lighter texture than traditional baked beans.
Mack and cheese 4.0/10.
It’s a fine Mac and cheese, but I would steer towards another side on my next visit.
Parish Canebrake 9.0/10
A light, crisp, clean local brew that pairs perfectly with the smokey meats.
We were lucky to get some burnt ends and sides and it was delicious. The brisket had the perfect amount of smoke, the sauce was a awesome addition. Be sure to save room foe pie!
Had the “W” special (3 meats) with mac&cheese and wife had chicken with 2sides (baked beans and corn cakes).
We were told of this by Ramon (a local) and he was so right!
Fantastic eats! Go there!
The best brisket and burnt ends you’ll find in the city. Chill, family atmosphere. Great service. Locals favorite. Don’t worry about the sketch neighborhood— the huge portions and awesome staff are worth it.
I wish I found this amazing place sooner rather than on my last day in New Orleans. Amazing food and service. The sausages were amazing as was the brisket. Loved the beans too! It’s about a 50min walk from the French Quarter along the river. Its a nice safe walk and lovely in a sunny day to get away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon St.
