What do The Kingston visitors reviews this place?
This was my first time organising and hosting an event at a restaurant, and everything worked out perfectly. I really appreciated the team at Marble & Pearl/ The Kingston’s politeness and attentiveness. The service was amazing.
For many of the guests, it was their first visit to the restaurant, and they were very impressed by the aesthetics (and I had a feeling they would be – it’s such a stunning space!) and the delicious food!

Dined here and ordered several dishes which included complementary bread. The pastel starter was deep fried, very crispy with a nice savoury beef and jalapeno filling; it didn’t feel greasy and heavy which was good. The seafood chowder was served in two separate bowls which was kind and considerate as they noted that we were sharing. Soup was not as thick and creamy as I would have liked but it has a pleasant mild seafood taste with a good amount of prawns, mussels and fish. The wagyu pie pastry was flaky and the braised meat was tender but found the red wine flavour was a bit overpowering the beefy taste. Lastly, the beef wellington was served in a timely manner after the initial dishes. The eye fillet was cooked medium rare and tender as expected and the puff pastry was maintained flaky for the most part. Texture was pretty good but flavour wise the prosciutto didn’t have the saltiness and the mushroom duxelle just tasted of concentrated earthy mushroom without any herbs, onions and other seasoning.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere. We came here for my birthday and had a fantastic night. The staff were awesome, very friendly and professional. We shared the oysters and jumbo prawns which were delicious, I had the ceviche and chowder both were yummy and the chowder had lots of seafood. Nick had the steak which was melt in your mouth. Very good wines too. Classy décor in the bar and restaurants
The Marble & Pearl Restaurant is amazing. Just a few minutes walk from West Richmond station so no parking problems. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I had the retro Seafood Cocktail and panfried Rockling with chips and salad. Our waiter was impeccable with his service, knowledge and friendliness. The ambience of the restaurant was also excellent with its fine dining style. I would thoroughly recommend The Marble & Pearl and I know I will be coming back to try something else on the menu sooner rather than later.
From the warm invitingly friendly staff (special mention to Ella) to the modern interior design balanced with natural light, cascading in via the outdoor garden & dining area. This alone settled me comfortably into my “Zen” state of mind to peruse the menu. I selected the prawn cocktail for my entree, followed by the Wagyu Steak with pepper sauce. The wine list had a good selection of both Australian & foreign wines. My steak was cooked to perfection. Both the lemon tart and crème brûlée were delicious without being overly sweet, even the accompanying coffee had the perfect crema and satisfying flavour. My young daughter thoroughly enjoyed the luncheon as much as I did. Simply a “must” don’t pass by this absolute “Gem” of a restaurant (priced competitively too, considering the quality)👌
