The Kitchen

The atmosphere was nice upstairs. Service was slightly slow, but everyone was very friendly. Food wise, average quality seafood with the sashimi on the cold plate. Could taste some meat flavour contamination perhaps cutting from a board not properly cleaned. Pork rib was slightly salty, although being a cured cut, sauce should have been lighter to accommodate the innate salinity. Steaks were cooked well wasn’t outstanding. Flavour wise, the cod was the star among the few dishes with complex flavours of olive, capsicum. It was well seasoned. Cocktails were average. If you are looking for better food, Luma across the road provides much better food for the price. (In honest opinion, not receiving any incentives)

We went to Sean’s Kitchen for dinner before the ballet, from the minute we stepped in the door we were met with incredible service, an amazing atmosphere and unbelievable food.

We started with scallops and octopus, the scallops were melt in your mouth. The flavour in the octopus was out of this world with the most beautiful slices of potato. When I thought it couldn’t get any better we had crab linguini and a burger that has left me ruined for all other burgers, it was truly beyond words.

Such an amazing night, amazing venue and credit to the fabulous staff both front of house and in the kitchen.

Came here at 9:45pm got seated down and handed a drink menu but had to wait 20 minutes for the food menu because we asked for it. The mangers was very rude and the first waiter because we didn’t want side only a starter entree and a dessert. The wine isn’t the best it’s super dry and bitter and not high quality food or services.

The only good thing was the lamb shoulder and dessert the crab from the starter made it feel contaminated and uncooked.

Only two waiters and waitress was good everyone else made us feel uncomfortable.

We had an amazing experience. Delicious steaks, amazing wine choice and very friendly service. The environment and design of the place with an open kitchen are an amazing addition to delicious food. Gluten free friendly

Exceptional value and quality. I have been coming to Sean’s for a steak for about 5+ years now and it’s always great.

The staff are incredibly friendly and always remember me. The fit out is bang on and the food is noticeably consistent every time. There is a old guy with white hair there that deserves the best waiter in Australia award.

The steaks are very good. Mac and cheese is 10/10 along with the duck fat chips, greens and sauces.

There is a really relaxing atmosphere at Sean’s and you can’t beat it. It isn’t busy as it could be which normally means not having to stress about booking a table, but at times I’ve seen it flat out.

Even though it’s technically a part of the casino, Sean’s is its own and is a great place to stop in for lunch. A solid 5 stars for sure. Over and out
