We presented at lunch with 7 people and they accommodated us with a smile at a bit of a smaller table because other tables were reserved. The service is excellent! The food was fresh and delicious – I had the cauliflower and prawn soup, and it was so smooth and yummy, seasoned perfectly. I had the honey parsnips on the side, and I took some home to enjoy the next day. The pasta my family ate looked delicious, and they had every bite. What a lovely lunch 💚
These may have been the best scrambled eggs I have ever been served. Delicious. And the young man who served us was wonderful.
I come here relatively often, the food is always excellent and the staff are lovely but I had to post a review today because I just had the best pain au chocolate there for my breakfast.
Maybe it’s because I got there just as they opened so it’s still extra fresh, but my goodness, do yourself a favour and get one in the morning, absolutely heavenly.

I actually fell in love with the grilled broccoli!! The main dish, scrambled eggs on sourdough bread and with salmon was delicious too! But maaaan, that broccoli was magical!
Amazing service as well, would recommend and come again.

We were in the area for the Weta tours and popped in to grab a quick bite prior, and it was so good we went back for lunch. I don’t have photos from brekkie because that was very quickly swallowed, but here were a few from lunch. Would’ve loved to go back for another meal if we could but too bad we were moving on today! Service was friendly and very helpful as well, though they do tend to get pretty crowded during peak times so you may have a bit of a wait. The only thing I didn’t quite like were that the coffees were a little on the sour side, but I just needed a bit of juice to jumpstart the morning engine so it was not trouble to me.
