➕ They accommodate big groups well. We have a big family. They were courteous, compassionate, and went out of their way to honor me as a vegetarian. The food was delicious. They made my grandson’s birthday party excellent. 📖

The food is always perfect. Homemade lemonade is great. Coleslaw is vinegar, NOT sweet, which I think is exactly how it should be made that most places don’t. It’s a local favorite for a reason.

I visited on 09/17/23. We were invited to a party and it was my 2nd time ever being here. We booked a party for upstairs, it was roughly 30 to 40 people. Our server was very attentive and took care of us. When we first arrived it was very busy! The food is awesome! I like how they serve family style, cause, well, family is always a great reason to get together. The food was hot and delicious! I will be back, I don’t know why other reviews I had read weren’t as good, but my experience was fantastic!

The fried chicken and mashed potatoes were delicious! We sat in the Lincoln Room and the hewn logs are very cool– such a neat history.

Came with a few of my brethren from church that came to help at the church camp in Dale, Indiana. We all were impressed and enjoyed ourselves. For me, it was joyful to eat at one of Indiana oldest restaurants. I was impressed with the quantity and amount you get. When back in the area , we will be stopping by again.
