What do The Mansion Restaurant visitors say about this place?
This place is a great vibe. We were in town for the eclipse and got to meet up with friends who moved outside Dallas a couple of years ago. This was the perfect spot! We got seated on the patio, and it was such a beautiful day for it! The service was top-notch. Timely food and drink service kept us happy. I highly recommend the crab cake; not much filler, just lots of crab meat! Also, the chicken schnitzel was so yummy; crisp and full of flavor. I’m still trying to figure out what was in the sauce. I loved it!! The bread pudding was so good that I didn’t even get a picture…. Oops. What a wonderful afternoon brunch!
We loved the romantic atmosphere for a dinner date. The food was phenomenal. We had the crab cake for an appetizer, and it was one of the best we have ever had! The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 was because at this price point I shouldn’t have to ask for a refill especially when I was only drinking soda and water. Also, the hostesses could be more friendly and welcoming. Overall, we really enjoyed it.
Decent fine dining with good food. Nothing too creative but certainly good quality for what you expect for a proper sit down dinner. High quality ingredients with good flavor balances. Good for dates and guest entertainment.
The atmosphere and ambience of this place is wonderful. Everything was immaculate. The restaurant was very clean and organized. Our server, Mike, was very professional, attentive, and on point of everything. The flavor of the food was divine. Everything came out in a very tiny manner and the portions were big. I love the braised short rib! The lobster spaghetti was very tasty. I got to speak with the manager and he was very polite and professional. I highly recommend this restaurant do anybody who is in the Dallas area! This is definitely a must dinning experience!
Service went above and beyond holding our reservation when our driver canceled and made us 20 mins late. We ordered mostly light dishes and caviar service because of the time of night. Dessert was the highlight esp paired with the drinks we ordered. Chocolate mousse will always be a favorite for us here. Menu is a bit limited but options available are well-thought out. Ambience is always intimate
