What do The Maple Leaf visitors reviews this place?
Everything is so good here! We will definitely come back to try more cuisines! Love the maple syrup with orange source on the chicken wings. The half duck is tender and delicious.
Consistently great food and service! We’ve been to The Maple Leaf several times this past year whenever we’ve been to Banff.
The patio in the summer is lovely. The dining room is also quite nice; I’d recommend asking for window seating.
While the halibut and gnocchi dishes are quite good, I’d highly recommend the duck entree, the bison tenderloin (although I’d order it with a side of mash next time in lieu of the ‘warmed’ potato slices), the fish and chips and the caesar salad. The restaurant has a great wine selection along with a variety of cocktails to choose from.
This is one of those places we just keep coming back to!
Step into a warmly inviting restaurant where the dining experience is nothing short of delightful. Indulge in the culinary delights of the bison rib and cowboy steak – a true highlight. For an optimal taste experience, opt for a rare plus doneness. The cost-effectiveness of these choices is exceptional. While the service from the waiter on that particular day seemed a tad hurried, it didn’t overshadow an otherwise flawless dining experience.
This place has it all. Amazing staff, extensive wine selection, and some of the most gourmet food you would eat in some time. Hostes was prompt and pleasant. The server was attentive and excellent in not barring us from our conversation with asking us for simple refills. Enjoyed the crab dip and wings for a precursor to a legendary steak. Perfectly cooked 18oz bone in ribeye with velvet mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus. Thank you all
I’m not the type to leave reviews, but I’ll share to prevent others from being disappointed like me. We came here for an anniversary lunch and ordered crispy calamari, salt spring mussels, and an 18oz Alberta cowboy steak. Unfortunately, both the calamari and mussels were overcooked, and the portions were surprisingly small. I’ve never seen mussels so small in my life. The calamari was not just crispy but excessively tough due to being overcooked. We had to request personal plates and steak knives from a random employee, as our server didn’t provide them. Additionally, there was no table check. The service was truly disappointing. The steak was decent compared to the other dishes, but I’d rather go to Chuck’s Steakhouse or the KEG. I do not recommend this place. Don’t waste your money, time, and stomach space here. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.
