What do The Shack Restaurant visitors reviews this place?
I decided to dine in at this restaurant and I’m really happy that I did because across the board it exceeded all of my expectations and I pay attention to all the details, even the smallest ones. I ordered the Irish stew and a pint of Guinness. For dessert I ordered the Bailey’s cheesecake and an espresso on the side. The Irish stew was as authentic as it gets and full of all the wonderful flavors. The portion was extremely generous and it was reasonably priced for sure. The Guinness was excellent and complemented the dish perfectly. The dessert was perfect balance of flavors and it was not too sweet but in fact just right. The espresso was also very good and strong. The staff the staff were very welcoming and they made the experience even better because of their attentiveness and their passion in what they do. The manager that was present or so I am assuming it was the manager, was regularly checking on all patrons in the restaurant to make sure they were satisfied. This was an experience that will be one I remember forever. If you are in the Temple bar area and looking for an exceptional dining experience then this is a must try for you.
Dining at this Irish restaurant was an unforgettable experience from me and my partner, largely thanks to Noinin’s exceptional service. She was a perfect team, ensuring our meal was nothing short of fantastic. The lamb shank, tender and flavorful, fell off the bone, while the beef stew was hearty, rich, and incredibly satisfying.
Noinin’s recommendations and attentive care added a personal touch to our evening, making us feel truly welcomed. This place isn’t just about great food; it’s about the warmth and charm of Irish hospitality, embodied by Noinin’s outstanding service.
A must-visit for anyone craving authentic Irish cuisine served with a heartwarming smile.
I highly recommend this Irish restaurant for anyone seeking an authentic dining experience. Ciao e Grazie from London
Great way to try Irish dishes. The whiskey chicken sounds like its a lot but its really a feel-good meal that is tender and juicy chicken breast with a delicious gravy and black pudding. I looked up black pudding and it is supposedly a blood sausage but to me it tasted like a piece of hearty toast.
We liked it. This place was one of a few that were baby friendly. We could get our stroller up the 2-3 steps and our server took a chair away so we could keep our baby in the stroller. The calamari and the fish n chips were good. Our favorite thing was steak and Irish O’Hara stout casserole.
This was such a cozy restaurant on a cold autumn night in Dublin. We had the ribeye with whiskey sauce, mashed potato’s and mushrooms, the Seafood chowder as an appetizer. The service was great, they sat us right away and we really enjoyed the food.
