We attended for Christmas Day lunch and were most impressed by the freshness and flavour of the food on the menu. A slight criticism of the kids dessert, our daughter would have much preferred the option of the pavlova and it would have been nice to have been given the choice. Service was outstanding and it felt very celebratory. We will definitely be returning.
food and wine outstanding. we had the lunch special. one entree and one main each for $40. (Or could have been $39). and while a cut down menu on this special. it really picks the highlights from the full menu. we shared our entrees. Calamari (fresh. fried beautifully) and the halloumi and tomato salad. (This was a star dish). I ordered the burger (GF option) and my darling wife ordered the beef ragu. well didn’t I have food envy. that meat was ridiculously well cooked and so much flavour smashed in there. Wow!!!! the actual personnel service was amazing – I’m just really biased against QR code ordering. which in this case is on us as we chose to sit outside in the courtyard. and why wouldn’t we it was a sunny Sydney Friday afternoon. Food and drink selection is fairly extensive. Perfect for a sit down and catch up dinner or lunch. Prices are what you would expect for the location. Service could have been a bit faster but we visited on a Friday evening so it is somewhat understandable. Overall a pleasant atmosphere that leaves you feeling refreshed.
Good little venue with a cosy courtyard. Good Sunday vibes and a half decent bottomless brunch. Our waitress was great, doing what she could to serve the many tables she was looking after on her own that Sunday. The food was ok, not too memorable, but was more functional to line the stomach for the drinks. Maybe just come for drinks and skip the bottomless brunch.
