Then and Now Restaurant

Came here for my girlfriend’s birthday, it was fantastic! Our server was very welcoming, kind and accommodating through the night. Loved that she intro’d each dish as she brought it out. I love a restaurant with unique menu items, the creativity and passion of the chef did not disappoint! Everything was delicious. Ricotta dumplings and lobster Bao were the standouts, fun combination of ingredients. Mousse and matcha ice cream was a great finisher, not too sweet! I appreciate the non-tipping policy but it was one of those dinners where I felt a tip was needed as applause.

Me and my friend enjoyed our dinner here at Then and Now. Service was very good and the food was delicious. I also love that they have a non-tipping system because they pay their servers a fair wage. Food was presented well, good flavour and decently priced. Drinks are also very good!

Such a cute little gem. The food was definitely different for the taste buds but in a good way. Best beef tartar I’ve had and I’ve been to over 150 restaurants. Great service and price was reasonable. Definitely coming back.

Came here for dinner on my birthday.

We were seated, the restaurant was not too busy since it was the middle of the week. Our waitress was lovely and made some some delicious cocktails. After tasting the ricotta dumplings, I knew the rest of our meal was going to be amazing. I shared the risotto and the steak frites with my friend. The risotto was so creamy and delicious. The steak was cooked to melt in your mouth perfection!!! (The Frits were good too!)

We had a great service, amazing drinks and the most delicious food. And the most awkward part was no tipping on top of the bill.

I will be coming back. Everyone needs to try this place.
