About this restaurants :
My friends recommended me Uncle Lou recently. We didn’t have reservations and we got there at 6pm tonight. We got seated immediately. Joe was server. He was very attentive and friendly. We got some free homemade Chinese soup with Lotus root with meat in it. We ordered 2 appetizers and 6 another 6 dishes. Everything was delicious and the portions were big. The dinner was ended with tapioca sweet soup. It was also on the house. Price is very reasonable. 6 of us spent $212 (including tips).
We all enjoyed our dinner. We will definitely going back again soon!
We came in for lunch and it was very crowded, had to wait for ~15 minutes. Food was good, we ordered Crispy Garlic Chicken and Sweet and Sour Pork, all well-seasoned and tasty 😋 expect to wait a bit for the food to come when it’s crowded
This restaurant has nice decorations but one thing I didn’t like was the service. The waiter literally put his hand under the check when I was not done signing it, standing right next to me and ready to take it the moment I was done writing.
Will not come again

Their traditional garlic fried chicken is superb. Several restaurants in NYC used to be known with the same dish all sadly fell from grace. Several other didh such as orange beef is also not bad. Whenever I am in the area I try to eat here
Top-notch Cantonese-style foods that will blow you away. Every dish we ordered was the best we could’ve hoped for.
We came as a party of 7 on a busy Thanksgiving day but got our table quite quickly and the servers also worked really fast on every orders. The restaurant is also spacious and clean, combined with the fairly cheap price tags and big portions make this a top choice for Chinese food.
The Crispy Garlic Chicken was solid, a little dry, and the Pea Shoots were kind of watery and missing flavor. But the Braised Pork Belly was next level! Stuffed hot in the fresh bao it was one of the tastiest dishes I’ve had in a while.
The servers and staff were also extremely friendly and didn’t rush us at all despite the restaurant being very busy, which I appreciated!
Definitely looking forward to coming back and sampling other dishes.
