Urban Reef

A lovely end to Christmas Eve afternoon, dropped in for hot drinks and mince pies. Great atmosphere, service was really good, and we enjoyed our drinks and food. Also, the Urban Reef were about the only place to do anything Christmasy… and brightened up a very windy, dull afternoon!

Great beach front location. Popped in on a bright but cold windy day. Just had a drink and cake which was lovely to enjoy the view. Very dog friendly with dog treat and water bowl provided by very friendly staff.

Love this place – such a great location & atmosphere. Service can be a little slow but mainly because they are so busy, however all staff are charming, friendly and all over it once you’re being served. Do ask if your menu choice is as stated as occasionally items are swapped out due to the freshness of their ingredients – I got olives instead of pea shoots on my Greek salad – only an issue if you’re not a fan of the alternative – so do ask the question. A little gem 💎

Great value Mothers Day menu – booked in advance and we’re not rushed. Courses were perfectly tine to give us space to enjoy conversation with family over food. Service was professional and polite. View was of course amazing. Will recommend booking to get the best tables upstairs. Lovely Mothers day with plenty of good quality food – thank you.

Second visit & absolutely perfect, gorgeous halloumi salad and King prawn baguette. Service was absolutely perfect and the staff are amazing and friendly and the food is always gorgeous Fresh.

Amazing service even though there was a minor hiccup, you can not fault this place. Amazing fresh food, the favours amazing, fresh ingredients beautifully presented and served with love and passion. Mistakes can be made & I always feel it’s how it’s handled that makes the difference and these operators were pros truly appreciated the amazing breakfast and service and the whole experience was great x
